The screw or similar fastening element has a head (34) with a counter profile (40) which is brought into engagement with a correspondingly formed profile (38) on a device (10) for rotating the screw. The screw or similar fastening element and the aforesaid device are detachably interconnected by plug-in connection, locking connection or form-locking connection (20). The locking connection has a recess (24) in the screw or device and a protrusion (22) on the device or the screw for engaging in it. An Independent claim is included for a device for the accommodating, holding and fitting of a screw or similar fastening element in a correspondingly formed bore.
