A method for processing a three-dimensional image data file or record in which the three-dimensional image data record for image reproduction is processed in at least two different representations, a reproduction of the two representations then follows and for at least one representation the relative position of the marked image zone is computed and the relative position of the marked image zone is indicated in the at least one further representation.
