The method involves integrating recursive information, from radioscopy images of a medical instrument, in the existing information or knowledge by three dimensional positions, where the images are proximate on top of each other. Information from a three-dimensional data record is determined and is feasible to the three dimensional positions for the instrument. The actual position of the instrument is superimposed in an image of the three-dimensional data record based on the information from the existing information or knowledge and determined information. An independent claim is also included for an x-ray diagnostic device for implementing a method of representation of a medical instrument, which is inserted in a vascular system, in a three-dimensional volume data record.
