The seating arrangement has 2 sets of seats (1,2',2'') positioned one behind the other, each seat having a seat squab and a backrest and the rear seat having 2 possible positions for facing in the travel direction and in opposition to the travel direction. The seat squab (3) of the rear seat can be displaced in the seating direction with adjustment of its inclination angle, the backrest divded into a fixed upper section (6') and a lower section (4) displaced with the seat squab and moved between opposite ends of the latter, a second upper backrest section (6'') provided behind the backrest of each front seat.
