The system has at least one brake disk, at least one brake lining and at least one brake piston (5) in a cylinder chamber (7) at least partly connected to a hydraulic brake circuit. The brake piston can adopt at least three positions in the cylinder chamber, whereby one position is a brake position, one is an initial position and one is an unbraked position in which the distance between the piston and disk is greater than in the initial position.
