A ventilation device has at least one propeller wheel (FR) consisting of a hub (N) on which are fixed propeller veins (F) via a bearing (BU) for generating a cooling air stream (KLS). The ventilation device has at least one first reference position (VP1) and a second reference position (VP2) for the position of at least one propeller vein, in which the first reference position is taken up by the propeller vein during rotation of the shaft in one rotational direction and/or the second reference position is taken up by the propeller vein during rotation of the shaft in the other direction.
