A ventilation unit for a low-energy house has a heat exchanger (12) with an effluent air outlet (14), an escaping air outlet (16), an ambient air fitting (18) and an inlet air fitting (20). The ventilation unit is esp. installed on or in an house outer wall (22) and has an outer air suction inlet (18), an in-flow fitting (26) and an outlet connector (28) to a sub-soil pipe (30). The outer air suction inlet (18) is linked to the in-flow fitting (26) and outlet connector (28) via the heat exchanger (12) to the inlet air fitting (20).
