The electrical machine has an inner or outer ferromagnetic rotor (11) and an outer or inner ferromagnetic stator (12), the rotor and stator contour facing the air-gap each defined by a radius which is dependent on the angular position and provided with periodic slots or teeth. The stator has one or more stator windings provided by coils (16) fitted in the stator slots alternating with permanent magnets (17) for providing electromagnetic poles (13) and permanent magnet poles (14) for magnetization of the air-gap.
