The machine has stator (90) including permanent magnets (95) and a support integrated to the permanent magnets, where the number of magnets is greater than the number of poles of the machine. The support supports the magnets at one of its axial ends and is formed of a single block in a metallic sheet. The support includes two separated pieces (92), whose one piece is arranged at one axial end of the permanent magnets. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an electrical rotating machine.
