Method for acquisition of patient specific data has the following steps: capture of medical diagnosis data relating to the patient using a diagnosis device (15); transfer of the data to a central computer (4); storage of the data in a data store (5) of the central computer; manual entry of data relating to the same patient using an input device (7) and; transfer of the data to the central computer where it is stored in the same storage device or a second storage device. The invention also relates to a corresponding device for method implementation.
