The IC engine has a cylinder crank housing (1) with a crank space (4) provided with an outlet in the vicinity of the bed plate (5) at its bottom, connected to an oil container, supplied with lubrication oil and blow-by gases upon a pressure in the crank space and having a gas outlet (17) for the blow-by gases. The oil container has 3 separate chambers (6,7,8) in 3 separate planes, respectively acting as a sump, a flow space and a supply chamber.
