The telephone unit (1) is coupled to the network socket (2) via a call blocking unit (3). The blocking unit has a number of user keys (5) that relate to a call classification, e.g. mobile telephones. Once the keys are selected the associated group of calls is blocked. The keys are enclosed behind a lid that can be locked to prevent access.
