The anchor holder (2) has a first holding section (11) marked by a first through hole (13), and a second holding section (15) marked by a second through hole (17). The second holding section is inclined at an angle larger than zero degrees with respect to the direction perpendicular to the retaining direction. The anchor bar also has an attachment section (9) for connection to an existing formwork to hold an armature bar (3) along a longitudinal axis (5) in the retaining direction.
