The freewheeling device for an assembly of a traction drive has a freewheeling pulley (1) which for the forming of two drive planes has two independent, axially offset pulleys (4,5) with separate mountings and freewheeling devices (2,3) separate from one another and including effective directions opposed to one another. The first pulley has a freewheeling device designed as an internal star freewheel and the second pulley has freewheeling device as an external star freewheel.
