The device (1) has a pulley freewheel (3) including a pulley-side secondary component (5) and a pulley-side primary component (4) that is connected with a driven shaft (2). A separate device (6) is formed by a ramp and arranged between the shaft and the primary component so as to convert rotational torque of the shaft into axial movement of the primary component. The axial movement of the primary component produces a frictional engagement between the primary component and the secondary component in a direction. A friction element (7) is arranged between the primary and secondary components.
