The building has two or more functional areas which are separated from each other by a partition floor (15) so that a lower volume serves as the supply chamber (V1) and an upper volume serves as the installation chamber (V2) for the machines (M1, M2). The two chambers are linked together through walk-in exchange areas for air supply. An exchange chamber (V3) provided above the installation chamber is separated off from the latter through an intermediate ceiling (16) and is connected to both this and to the outside air.
