Device for monitoring and control of a motor vehicle dual voltage electrical system, whereby one voltage level is associated with the vehicle wiring system and the other is associated with the traction side. The control device has a control unit (1) for the vehicle wiring system and on the traction-side an analogue to digital converter (AD1-ADn) for measuring at least one condition value (Z1-Zn) with the measurement values linked via an electrically isolated interface (5) to the control unit for transfer of digital data from the ADC.
