Several projections of a three-dimensional (3D) object (4) are combined using a computer. The computer replaces a first part of the data values of each projection with new values, while a second part remains unaltered so that an altered projection is generated. The computer then carries out a reconstruction based on the altered projections. Independent claims are also included for the following ; (1) computer program product; (2) computer.
