A memory stores a N-dimensional map. A virtual map preparation unit produces a virtual map of low dimension for fixing the parameters to the new value, during diving state of the vehicle. A specific control parameter is calculated from the virtual map, using the non-fixed parameter. One or two dimensional virtual map is produced with respect to calculated parameter, based on the N-dimensional basic map. An Independent claim is also included for control parameter calculation method.
