The cylinder mill or bowl mill crusher comprises rotating mill bowls (3) upon which roll stationary crushing cylinders (7), whereby the mill bowls are encompassed by gas inlet gap. A sieve (15) is installed in the upper section of the mill housing. A partition (22) at a radial distance from the inside of the housing forms an annular gap (23). The gas inlet gap is formed as a nozzle ring (12), the nozzles of which have an axial and tangential outlet direction. The annular gap between the mill housing and partition has an equal width over its whole vertical height.
