The adapter system is for positioning and fixture of a wiper blade with an insert connection between the wiper arm and the blade fixture and provided with a hook-shaped backwardly bent end. On the insert connection, the wiper blade fixture is attached via an intermediate part. The adapter system comprises a deformable intermediate part (1) with tension flanges (6,7) on both sides, which are securable in the hook-shaped part of the wiper arm (3) by means of a tension bolt. The intermediate part, the tension flanges, the hook-shaped part (4) of the wiper arm and the wiper arm retention (2) are commonly secured by an at least partly encompassing clamp (5).
