The device consists of at least two trolleys for at least one pair of wheels of a vehicle. Each trolley consists of a frame with four wheels (2) fixed via stud axles. The frame is length adjustable in longitudinal direction, and can be locked. It also has telescopic cross struts (1) between every two wheels, to support one vehicle wheel via central rollers. A first length-adjustable side frame section consists of a spindle (6) and a guide bar (7), held with their ends in bearing blocks (3,4) on the cross struts. The second block has a threaded part (5) for the spindle.
