The sloping roof (1) has a set of horizontal laths (2). A grid (4) is laid on these laths, made up of thin longitudinal (5) and transverse (6) laths at right-angles to each other. An intermediate layer (7) is laid on the grid. Squares or rectangles of insulating material (8) are laid on the intermediate layer. They are made of wood fibers or cellulose fibers. Sheets of airtight sealing material (9) are laid on top of the insulating material and are covered by an underlayer (10) which supports the roof tiles.
