Part of the lead (1) secured to the halter extends through the inside of a second lead (2) which is secured to the collar and includes a handle loop (3). The two leads have bolt hooks (4, 5) attached to them and the position of these hooks relative to each other can be altered by shortening or lengthening the inner lead.
