A filter arrangement (100) for treating industrial waste water, esp for treating water containing tensides, comprises low pressure pumps (15,6), a storage vessel (3) with a heat exchanger (4), a prefilter (2) and ultrafiltration modules (7) for separating fibres, inorganic solids and micro-organisms. The vessel heat exchanger is used to warm the water to at least 60[deg]C which is the optimum temperature for inhibiting germs.
