An electrical pluggable contact which can be inserted into a support or carrier body and whose basic body (1) is provided from a connecting region (3) adjoining to the contact region (2), in which a separate lamellar-shaped contact cage (4) is provided for the contact region. The contact region has two opposite-facing exposed sections (6) in the plugging direction to form ledges serving as abutment shoulders (7) in the carrier or support body.
