The multi-purpose greetings card (1) is composed of a number of layers. The first layer is a wood veneer and the second layer is of paper, shaped to give two sheets (2,3). A shape (5) is formed in one sheet by an outline line (10) which can be torn out, held to the sheet at the corners (9). The dividing line (4) between the sheets is perforated, to allow the sheets to swing against each other.
