The device has a current-conducting resistance, whereby current through the resistance is interrupted if a threshold temperature is exceeded. The fuse is a spring (5) under mechanical tension soldered at one end with solder (4) in good thermal contact with the substrate (1) so the solder melts, the spring relaxes and the electric current through the spring is interrupted if the substrate temperature exceeds a threshold temperature level.
