The packaging (1) is for modular appliances (4a) having an outer projecting edge with support edges, which define a main plane (5) of the module. It also has at least one support element (6) engaging under a surface of the module, so that the main plane of the module is positioned at an angle to at least one wall (2,3) of the packaging, and it is at even distance to all packaging walls. The packaging has a cover (7) connected pivoted to one wall. It consists of cardboard, esp. corrugated cardboard, and the support elements are of the same material.
