The restraining system in a vehicle for transporting the disabled has holding elements (11) to secure a wheelchair (10) and anchorings (12) constructed on the vehicle, whereby the holding elements are fastened on a securing frame (13) in which the wheelchair is located. A support element (50) in the form of a strap or in net form is fastened to the securing frame and during travel fits under the seat of the wheelchair. An anti-slip element in the form of a cushion is installed between the occupant of the wheelchair and the seat.
