The hollow component has a closed bottom (2) and a cap (3) with a dispensing opening (5) for especially semi-liquid products. At least one section of the hollow component is enveloped in a casing (6) which can be pushed along in the direction of the dispensing opening in such a way that the then protruding edge imparts to the hollow component a standing stability when the enclosed dispensing opening is pointing downwards. The casing is flexurally rigid and is installed with increased friction in relation to the hollow component.
