The climate controlled seat has a padded seat surface (4) and padded seat back (8), and with a fan (16) installed under the seat surface and on one side connected to an air distribution unit in the seat and on the other side having an air passage section (31) connected to atmosphere. The air passage section is located on the fan side facing the seat surface. The fan is a radial fan and has an outlet opening (32) pointing approximately in a direction parallel to the seat surface. A flexible bellows (34) is installed between the fan outlet opening and air duct (20) in the seat.
