The rolling bearing has at least one bearing race (3) assembled from several segments (4) and in which roll the rolling bodies (5), and a segmented flange (8) in at least one axial end section of the bearing race. A run-on face (9) is provided for the flange and has a stepped construction in the circumferential direction, whereby all the steps are orientated in the same direction. A step is formed at each transition between adjacent race segments.
