The grinder has an energy accumulator (12) formed by a compressed gas tank (12) whereby the energy supplied by same is converted into rotational energy through a drive device (10) which operates pneumatically. The compressed gas tank holds liquid gas. A combustion chamber (22) is provided between the tank and the drive to mix gas from the tank with oxygen-containing gas.
