A natural stone laminar tile (1) consists of a number of layers that are glued together. The carrier layer consists of a light carrier material, and the natural stone layer (3) is only adhered to one carrier layer. The latter consists of a single member (5) made of straight, parallel hollow profiles, whose axes run parallel to the tile surface and edges. The adhesive layers (4) consist of epoxy resin, and natural stone (8) is applied to the tile edges.
