The shoe, which can be of any suitable design is provided with a two-dimensional (13) or three-dimensional (14) decoration indicating its use as the right or the left shoe (10). The shoe (10) is individually packed in a special box, preferably with a transparent lid. The customer can choose a pair slightly differing in sizes or of the same model but with a different trimming (13). The collection of a single shoe (10) of a special version is also made possible since lately particular shoes have become collector's items.
