The winding spool has a cylindrical winding sleeve (14) and two flanged discs (10, 12) at the axial ends. Spacers (20) detachably fitted in several positions onto the outer edges of the discs have an ideal break point which can break the spacers when force is exerted across their longitudinal direction. The spacers have hooked profiles at both ends which can fit onto corresponding edge profiles (16) of the flanged discs.
