An improved pouring process for a tetrapack, with improved air venting has a small air venting aperture on the opposite side to the pouring aperture and covered with a removable foil. A simple improvement has the air vent sealed by the cover part of the packaging and with a tapering plug fitted adjacent to the vent via an attached flexible strip. The user merely pushes the plug into the vent and releases it for pouring, and replaces it to reseal the pack.
