The cap comprises an integrated signal strip (3) fitted (non-)releasably to cap facing (2) in foldable manner. The signal strip and cap are made of same materials, preferably knitwear. The signal band may be in reflecting, phosphorescent, or fluorescent colors, and may carry a worked-in inscription. It may contain elements with signaling effect, e.g. reflectors, LEDs etc.
