The nozzle arrangement (8) for the application of a free flowing material onto an underlayer (1) has a mouthpiece holder (68) with a channel by which a connection to a feed passage is formed, and a mouthpiece (70) to receive material from the channel and for the application of material onto the underlayer. The mouthpiece has an outer contact area (74) which comes into contact with the underlayer and has a curved section which during material application diverges in relation to the underlayer. The mouthpiece in cross section is in part-circle form and diverges in a direction opposite the direction of the material application. An independent claim is included for a mouthpiece for a device for the application of a free flowing material onto an underlayer.
