Multifunctional organic alkali metal initiator and its synthesis, anionically polymerized star-shaped polymers and their preparation

An initiator for preparing various star-shaped polymers by anionic polymerization is characterized by that it can expressed with the formula Ma(RMe)b, in which M includes Sn, Ti, Al, Si, B; R is alkyl radical, a=1-3, b=2.5-6.5, Me is alkali metal, including Na, Li. The initiator is synthesized by the reaction of aryl alkali metal and conjugated dienes or vinyl monomer, then adding with halides. This initiator is characterized by simple technology, available in raw material, low cost and adjustable functionality.
