Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) nucleic acid (Ia) comprising at least 8 (preferably 20) nucleotides (nt) from any of 81 nucleic acid sequences defined in the specification, also the complements of (Ia); (2) nucleic acid (II) with at least 80% nt identity with (I) or (Ia), also the complements of (II); (3) nucleic acid (III) that hybridizes under stringent conditions with (I), (Ia) or (II), also the complements of (III); (4) probes and primers (IV) containing at least 8 nt from (I), (Ia), (II) or (III); (5) method for amplifying (I), (Ia), (II) or (III); (6) kits for method (5); (7) method for detecting any of (I), (Ia), (II) or (III); (8) kits for method (7); (9) recombinant vector containing any of (I), (Ia), (II) or (III); (10) recombinant host cell containing any of (I), (Ia), (II), (III) or the vector of (9); (11) polypeptide (PP) containing at least 15 amino acids (aa) from (II), or its peptide fragments or variants, or having at least 80% identity with them, or their modifications with 1-20 aa substitutions, additions or deletions; (12) antibodies (Ab) directed against PP; (13) kits for detecting PP comprising Ab and reagents for detecting immune complex formation; (14) method for identifying compounds that interact with PP; and (15) kits for method (14).
