Card holder has front (2) and rear layers of a plastic material that are partially fixed together, with slots (4) in the inner layer for inserting cards (10). The two layers are joined by weld lines (8) below the slots that act as stops for the inserted cards. The weld lines are in the form of short bars lying perpendicular to the direction of the card's insertion, with two bars just above each slot.
