The sash-bolt includes a rod (1) guided by a guide rod (5) on a door (2) and having an end part (1a) forming a bolt (3) and a long control part (1b) coupled to an operating mechanism that displaces the bolt between a first position in which the bolt cooperates with a part (9) for keeping the door closed, and a second position permitting opening of the door. A blocking element (14) maintained by a wire element (19) in a passive position permitting displacement of the rod between the first and second positions, can in the case of a fire, pass to an active position for holding up displacement of the rod from the first to the second position. The blocking element is disposed in a recess (15) of the bolt, so that in a passive position, the blocking element is completely held in the recess, while in an active position, the blocking element is stuck out on a longitudinal side of the bolt so as to abut against a fixed element (5,9) placed along the trajectory of the bolt, in the event of fusion of the control part (1b) of the rod (1).
