The device for sorting longish objects with a length greater than their width has a frame and a means of transporting with a sorting device in the form of a perforated plate, the holes having a transverse dimensions in such a way that first objects which have a first length smaller than a prescribed length are removed through the holes by gravity force. The sorting device also has stops which prevent the passage through the holes of second objects with a second length greater than a prescribed length.
