P An upper part (2) has a gaiter (4) which includes fixing portions (44) capable of engaging each other to place the gaiter (4) in the closed position. A zipper (6) has a first zipper strap (61) attached to an interior surface of the gaiter (4) between the side sides and between the upper and lower ends of the gaiter (4). A second zipper strap (62) to complete the first zipper strap (61) is attached to the upper portion (2) adjacent to the upper end of the upper portion (2). A neck type member (7) extends along and inward from the upper end of the upper part (2) and the second zipper strap (62) is attached to an inner side of said upper part (2) and extends between the neck type element (7) and the upper end of the upper part (2). The zipper (6) is thus hidden within the gaiter (4) and is prevented from being brought into contact with external debris, mud, sand or the like. /P
