The fuel tank gauge protector consists of two components a base with a central aperture, held in place by the fuel gauge once it is fixed to the tank, and a cover that fits over the gauge and is connected to the base by three rivets to prevent access to the gauge. The protector can be fitted to different models of fuel gauges with pipes in line or at a variety of angles.
