The contact blades (1) are set in a molded base (3) made of an electrically insulating material, which is intended to be plugged into a hole in the windscreen wiper housing box. The molded base has a peripheral flange (4) which fits closely against a complementary shoulder in the housing. Flexible clips (5) at either end of the base, parallel to the blades, lock the base in place in the box.
