Geometric parameters and programming voltage domains (14) are provided as intrinsic and extrinsic entries for a Doehlert matrix (16) which exchanges simulation cartography and results (18) with the external environment and produces as output models of threshold voltages and maximum electric fields (20). These models are later used in more complex simulations to take into account the component and environment : An independent claim is also included for equipment to generate a mathematical model of an electronic component including means to select parameters, enter them into simulation and extract calculation points.
