COMPUTER PROGRAMMABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INSTALLED ON BOARD OF MOTOR VEHICLES, IN ORDER TO ANTICIPATE ON THE VARIOUS REGULATORY ACTIONS IN THE FIELD OF ROAD SAFETY, BEFORE AND DURING DRIVING
The device controls the aptitude of the driving by visual analysis and with seat belts having electric contacts and prevents the starting of the engine in cases of drugs or alcohol ingestion by the driver or by the detection of non-fastening of the seat belts. It has an audio-visual programme for the vision of route maps and voice indicators. It also has a automatic deceleration function, and an electro-mechanical gearbox which modulates the pressure exerted on the accelerator pedal by the driver, and adjusts a variable thrust point for the management of fuel. The actuation of the electromechanical gearbox and other functions are enabled by the insertion of a logic programme DVD disc, and decrypted by the DVD reader of the computer, following a received signal by the receiver and position beacon, in connection with a GPS satellite and the electronic signalling panel.
